Maria is a planner with the City of Garden Grove where she currently services as the Planning Services Manager. Maria has worked on many exciting and complex projects in both current and advanced planning during the course of her career, including hotel resorts, mixed-use development, general plan and zoning code updates, and high density residential projects. Maria holds Bachelor degrees in Environmental Analysis and Design, and Women’s Studies from UC Irvine, and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Cal State Long Beach. In addition to her membership with OC-APA, Maria is also a member of Women Leading Government. In her free time, Maria is dedicated to service, and enjoys being a parent volunteer at her son’s school, and participating in service activities sponsored by her church’s ministries.
