Chief Business Attraction Officer

Peoria, Arizona (population over 160,000) is a fast-growing city in the Phoenix metropolitan area covering more than 176 square miles. Peoria is now seeking a Chief Business Attraction Officer. This position reports to the Director of Economic Development Services and manages the positions of Business and Real Estate Development Coordinator and Business Development Specialist. A candidate with broad knowledge in the field of economic development—particularly real estate development and business attraction—will be valued. The selected individual must be a seasoned professional with a record in success at attracting advanced industries and recognizing economic development opportunities marketed toward the City of Peoria. Candidates for this position will be expected to possess excellent written and oral communication skills and an understanding of advanced mathematical operations methods particular to economic development activities. A typical candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, Communication, Real Estate Development, Economic Development, or a related field. Candidates for the position of Chief Business Attraction Officer must have at least seven years of applicable experience. The salary for this position is dependent upon qualifications.
