THE ASSISTANT PLANNER is the entry-level classification in the professional planning series. The successful candidate will be expected to perform entry level professional work in the fields of current or advanced planning which requires the application of fundamental planning principles. Assignments are generally moderately
difficult in scope, but within the design and procedural framework established by higher level employees;
however, as experience is acquired, the employee will be expected to perform with increasing independence.
