APA Orange PEEL
APA Orange PEEL (PLANNING: EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE + LEADERSHIP) is a thriving, impactful mentoring program that builds a valuable network of peers and professionals. Help promote a positive atmosphere of career development among all planners throughout Orange County. The ideal mentoring relationship explores personal knowledge and experience in a small group or one-on-one setting. PEEL provides an opportunity for emerging planners to learn new technical insight into planning, professional development tips, leadership skills, networking strategies, and community service. There's so much to learn from each other.

2024 PEEL Mentorship Program.
Take your career to new heights and make a lasting impact in your field by joining APA's Orange PEEL Mentorship Program! This unique opportunity connects emerging planners with seasoned professionals, creating a dynamic environment for learning, growth, and collaboration.
The kick-off is scheduled for Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. The program will conclude in fall 2024. The commitment involves five meetings with your PEEL team, which may include participation in any events hosted by APA Orange Section.
APA plans to host three group receptions exclusive to PEEL participants:
- MARCH 27, 2024: speed mentoring kick-off event
- SUMMER 2024: Walking tour hosted by mentors
- FALL 2024: PEEL appreciation event
You must be a member of APA Orange Section to participate in the PEEL program. Please note that protégés will be assessed a $20 participation fee to cover the cost of materials.
