Global Site Plans is seeking a creative graphic designer to tackle a variety of infographic and data visualization design projects. The Infographics Designer will be accountable for converting research data into infographics. This role requires gathering and translating data into a format that can be presented using a compact and creative approach that is engaging, easily understood, specific, relevant and accurate.
6 month or 1 year commitment, contractually;
Uninterrupted Internet and computer access, must check email daily;
Excellent design skills;
Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator;
Strong communication and quantitative skills;
Ability to work under deadlines and meet them;
Self-motivated, enthusiastic and independent worker;
Passion for environmental design a plus.
Ability to work autonomously with little direction;
Effectively conceptualize, design and create high-quality visuals in a variety of digital formats;
Comprehend numerically driven or abstract concepts and convert them into appropriate, visually compelling designs under deadline and without factual error;
Communicate design strategy;
Develop infographic portfolio pieces;
Obtain a greater knowledge of the environmental design field.
