Associate Planner

The City of Concord’s Planning Division is currently seeking to add an Associate Planner to it’s innovative team. The Associate Planner will serve as a project manager on permit applications of moderate complexity performing technical research, analysis, report writing and recommendations; conduct initial studies and coordinate interdepartmental, outside agency and consultant’s reports as required by the California Environmental Quality Act on assigned projects; represent City at meetings of other agencies; serve as staff support to City boards and commissions; and perform related work as required all within the context of the
City’s Mission, Vision, Values Statement. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, project management skills, and have a strong and progressive customer service orientation. For more information, visit the City of Concord’s website.
