The City of Duarte is seeking an energetic Associate Planner for its Community Development Department. The ideal candidate will have the ability and desire to excel in: performing a wide range of professional planning tasks, evaluating architectural proposals and site plans; communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; and in being part of a departmental team.
Although the City is open to other appropriate combinations, candidates should have a have Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in planning, urban studies, or a related field, and three years of experience in municipal planning.
